Where Magic Happens!

Follow up - Honolulu Star Advertiser hyeadline 8/20/10 - "Brighter Days Ahead
- the state econimic forecast indicates gains in visitor arrivals, spending
income abnd job growth as businesses look to expand."
But, you heard it here first...
Better Times ARE ahead! - Cheryl's Article from 2009
The headline in last
Friday’s (3/20/2009) Honolulu Advertiser blared, “No relief in sight for Isle economy.”
Really?  From an astrological perspective, this headline may be more hype than fact.

In the overview,
there are cycles of thousands of years called zodiacal ages. We’ve heard of the
Aquarian Age, we've been on the brink of it for more than a generation. The
clues may be in a 1960s song written for the musical 'Hair':  I remember singing and dancing to this song as
my high school drama class prepared to stage it for our annual big show.
"When the Moon is in
the 7th house and Jupiter aligns with Mars,
then peace will guide the
planets and love will steer the stars.
This is the dawning of the
Age of Aquarius

The Age of Aquarius!  Aquarius!
Harmony and understanding, sympathy
and trust abounding
No more falsehoods or
derisions, golden living dreams of visions
Mystic crystal revelation and
the mind's true liberation Aquarius! Aquarius!"

The song, ‘Age of
Aquarius,’ was supposedly inspired in part by a Nostradamus
pro
phecy:

'Mars and Jupiter will be in conjunction,
Soon after a new king anointed
Who for a long time will bring peace to the Earth.'
Nostradamus Prophecies  C6 Quatrain 24
Change and
dramatic new beginnings come to all of us at some time.  An article in today’s Honolulu
Advertiser (3/22)
headlines, “Times are good business for psychic,” and subtitles it “Worry drives
steady stream of customers to divine what lies ahead.”  True, but sometimes even the
omens are fuzzy, even for ourselves.  For instance, I am about to experience Uranus,
planet of radical change, moving over my Ascendant on April 9th.  This is a once-in-a-
lifetime transit and I don’t truthfully know what to expect,
because with Uranus one can only expect the unexpected.
An acquaintance of mine had a similar transit a few years ago and
created for herself two-toned Cruella DeVille hair!  She also created for herself a Cruella
personality which persists to this day.  You
can see and hear her coming.  So if you see me after April 9th...
In Astrology, though, we know certain things,
such as each New Moon and each New Year brings a fresh start. The Zodiacal New
Year begins with the Spring Equinox on March 20th, which we just
celebrated last Friday. This Spring Equinox is termed the Aquarian Equinox
because it is the first Equinox following the February 17th, 2009,
alignment of planets in Aquarius that has been said will trigger the beginning
of the Age of Aquarius. The celestial events in the transition to the Aquarian
Age include these seven:

  • The February 17th stellium in Aquarius
  • A Simultaneous Spring Equinox on our globe as
well as on Saturn and Uranus
  • A New Venus on March 27th
  • The most powerful solar eclipse of the century on
    deck for July 22nd
  • The heliacal rising of Sirius, Venus, and Orion
    in mid-August
  • The Saturn Ring Plane Crossing / Saturn Equinox
    on September 4th; and finally
  • The appearance of the 7th Moon in the 7th House on
    September 19th and 20th
The uniting cycles in this transition include the beginning of the Aquarian Age according to
the cycle of precession and the fluky cycles of Saturn and Uranus, the ancient and modern,
respectively, planetary rulers of Aquarius. Also playing a part is the
North Node transiting Aquarius and its conjunction to the precise Pisces /
Aquarius juncture at the time of the July 22nd total eclipse of the Sun.
Each Spring Equinox and the year thereafter is
ruled by one of seven planets in sequence -- Saturn, Jupiter, Mars, the Sun,
Venus, Mercury, and the Moon.  Mars ruled
this past year and the Sun now takes his place. Mars years often bring war and
violence and advocate personal motives, Sun years, though, bring enlightened, inclusive
vision, new understandings, positive social change, and general well being.  The Sun, the
giver of life, is the source of light, love and power in the universe
In the Mayan
calendar 2009 is ruled by Yohualtictl, the Flower Goddess. ‘Flowering’ is a
keynote of this cycle, which means that good times are just around the corner.  How good? How close around the corner?  It depends on how well we have endured our
hardships g during the bleak, winter phase of this cycle. The 13 prophetic
years of transition, 1998-2011, in the Mayan calendar harken back in time to
the last Yohualticitl cycle1952-1972, which brought in the hippies, Height-Ashbury,
Woodstock, Vietnam, the beat generation, and the ‘flower children.
While we are
experiencing Spring Equinox on Terra Firma, it is also Spring Equinox on Saturn
and Uranus! The seasons last longer on these outer planets, occurring on Saturn
only20every 30 years and on Uranus every 84 years.  Whatever the duration, Spring
Equinox is more than just a day.  It is a time of celestial equilibrium that extends for several
days after.  The last Equinox on Uranus was the Autumn Equinox in effect from the end of
1965 through mid-1969. This was the heyday of the Hippie revolution when flower
children with our worry beads, sit-ins, and flowing hair introduced the Age of Aquarius
to the world.
The last time a Spring Equinox happened simultaneously
on Saturn and Uranus was more than 2500 years ago! This is especially significant
now because Saturn and Uranus, the planetary rulers of Aquarius, will continue
to be in opposition all this year. This dynamic opposition alternately
highlights and eradicates the unyielding forms of old while building flexible forms
of the future world.  The AquarianEquinox continues while Saturn and Uranus align
throughout 2009.
In the cycle of
the year, the magic times are the 15-day periods that begin at the equinoxes,
solstices. and on cross-quarter days. Things that=2
0occur during a waxing Moon, or
when the Moon is going from New to Full, during these times almost always go
well. This is a key to astrological timing. This Spring Equinox March 20th to
April 4th is a period of opportunity to focus energy in a new way.   We are now recovering from a seven-year d”ark
night of the soul” that began in September2001 and has included five very
troublesome years from June ’03 to September ’07 when Saturn was in its
detriment in Cancer and Leo. In Saturn’s long annual cycle, the winter season
brings darkness. Winter began on Saturn in late 2001 and it ends officially on
September 4, 2009.
One of 2009’s prominent
highlights is the New Venus on March 27th. This evening will be one of the most
magical of the year. Four days later on March 31st / April 1st, Venus appears
as the Morning Star, a sign of new life, love, and creation.  Every 500 years the Phoenix
dies in flames and is re-born from its ashes. The old ways die and new ways are born.
The return of Venus as the Morning Star signals the flight of the Phoenix. A New
Venus cycle begins on March 27th, just after the Spring Equinox. For four days before
and after this date Venus will be invisible.

During this time she is in the inner world being transformed before she appears in new
guise in the morning sky.  It is good to be quiet while Venus and our psyches are in for
their makeover.  As Gurumayi Chidvilasanda said some time ago, “reflect in silence.”
On February 17th,
2009, the Moon appeared in the 7th House as Mars and Jupiter were conjunct in
Aquarius with the north node, a symbol of our evolutionary direction. Five
planets and the Sun gathered in Aquarius to herald this new beginning. Plus,
Mercury in Aquarius was in ‘mutual reception’ with Saturn in Virgo while
Neptune in Aquarius was in mutual reception with Uranus in Pisces, so the
energies of the two rulers of Aquarius were drawn into the mix. The February
gathering of planets in Aquarius signaled the beginning of a new era that
begins to blossoms as Venus rises before the Sun.  The New Venus brings new love,
artistry, beauty, money, and manifestation. The current economic crisis will be settled
following this New Venus.   We all need to take steps to be in the right place at the right
time to make the right connections to accept and receive the coming bounty

The Tarot card for Aquarius is the Star, with the cosmic Lady pouring her twin pitchers
out into the Aquarian streams. A Phoenix sits in a tree behind her.
Many outworn global patterns will come up for release as these various elements move
toward their rendezvous. This grand alignment brings the possibility of a major change
in consciousness and world reformation. A new world will emerge as the planets
fan out over the next three years.
Don’t expect the Age
of Pisces to end abruptly and the Age of Aquarius to instantly begin.  Everything takes time.  I just heard someone on television say that he
“was disappointed that President Obama hadn’t fixed things yet.”  Good grief!
Give the man a chance!  He has years and years of scum to clean and polish.
When I closed the old shop in 2007 and relocated it to my home, I didn’t have the new
shop ready the next day.  I just the other day found a used book for a customer in the new
book section, and while doing so, found a book on Astral Projection mixed in with the
Astrology books.
How soon we shift into a better economy depends on how well we each tune in to the new
flow and quit getting pulled down by the negative forecasts in the media and other
nay-sayers.  Remember, whatever we think and affirm becomes our reality.
You read it here first!

Happy Lunar Eclipse!

People often forget their original true self when they are suffering.
They can only see the difficulties but not themselves.

You know, all the feelings of joy, happiness, sadness and anger arise
from attachment for a little desire. The desire is the beginning of
all feelings.

When the result is good, you feel happy and if it is not good, then
you feel sad according to your expectation.

It seems that emotion is the center of your life. When you are
emotionally good, then your life is good.

The center of your life is your self. You should be able to feel what
you are doing, how you are feeling in each moment. You can always
feel who you are now. The most important thing is for you to feel
you are the center of yourself and your life. You need to be approved
by yourself but not by others. You need to be accepted by yourself but
not by others.

So now, close your eyes and meditate. Just be connected to yourself.

Mid-Summer Moon of June 24-29

By Cheryl Niggle, Serendipity Riches

On June 24th, the Sun begins to move southward once again.  This is a time when snakes go “in the blue” or shed their skin -- and so can we.  “In the blue” is when snakes are the most vulnerable, as the old skin comes up over their face and temporarily blinds them, making them feisty, on edge, and angry.  Sometimes, psychically, we feel the same way.  The ritual remedy for this affliction is full-body total water immersion as well as fire leaping or walking and free-form or ritual dance.  Immerse yourself three times in water (salt water is the best!) to cleanse your emotional body and circle clockwise three times around a small fire (a candle or cauldron will suffice), jump over the flame three times to cleanse your mind, and then dance to let go of physical negativity and to shed your psychic skin. This opens you up to an influx of new visions and energies.

A big part of my cultural heritage is Irish, English, and Scots, and in our Celtic teachings, June 24th, part of the Midsummer time, is when magic is most powerful and fairies roam the land. When we dance to let go of our body shell and let ourselves be free, we sometimes can see some of the subtle realms like the devas or nature spirits that my people call fairies.

The year, like our ocean, ebbs and flows from the Spring Equinox in March to its peak during the Summer Solstice. The vital energy is high in plants, in trees, in nature in general, and in all of us. My late mother had the Irish green thumb and loved working out in our yard.  She would use this time to weed her garden and plant her newest crop of geraniums because the energy was so vibrant. She had the best geranium planters in the neighborhood!  Similarly, this is a prime time to thin out our psychic weeds and plant our new spiritual seedlings.

This year, the Solstice on June 21stoccured in a waxing Moon, with the energy increasing until the Full Moon on June 26th and then running wild and crazy for the three days thereafter.

In this particular cycle, a new worldwide awareness is manifesting.  Hopefully, it will become active at and following the coming July 11th solar eclipse. In the meantime, focus on clearing your channels for new insights and understanding.   We certainly need it, especially in view of what is happening in the Gulf of Mexico. During this time, we can reach out and try to receive a vision of our true mission to help heal ourselves and the world. We are living in a remarkable time now when the nature and focus of progress is changing significantly and it is vital to define our particular place in the new design.

Monty, my favorite python at the Honolulu Zoo, has gone to Snake Heaven, but other snakes still on this plane will shed their skins at Midsummer and we can follow suit, psychically. This is a time to clear old karma and live a new and better dharma.

Energy Healing and the Summer Solstice
By Cheryl Niggle, Serendipity Riches

Summer is almost here and we are already having some high temperatures, at least here in Hawaii.  Even so, the weatherman stated a few nights ago that last year, we had these temperatures in May, so we’re about a month off.  This season promises to be a busy one too. I hope you have great summer planned -- a summer full of fun, good energy and passion….
Deepak Chopra is always such a great teacher, sending us powerful messages and good thoughts to ponder.  Here is one such gift, very appropriate for the Summer Solstice:

“Intent is like a seed that contains everything it needs to become the tree, the flower, and the fruit. When you plant and nurture your seed of intention, you tap into the infinite creative power of the universe, which orchestrates countless details simultaneously.  One of the best ways to focus on intentions is to write them down. While this may seem like an obvious first step, many people ignore it and their intentions often remain unfocused and unrealized.
Today we invite you clarify and empower your intentions by writing them down and sharing them here.  Ask yourself what you want in all areas of your life, including your relationships, material abundance, work, self-esteem, and spiritual desires.  Don’t worry if your intentions seem “unrealistic” – the goal is to go beyond your current mind-set and constraints and dream the impossible.
For every intention, ask yourself “how will it serve me?” and “how will it serve everybody I come into contact with?” Ultimately, the goal of all intentions is to bring greater happiness and joy to our lives and to the lives of those around us.”

Thoughts are things, and they create your reality.
Focus on your inner wants and needs and find the passion that drives you.

Why the Solstice here?

"Solstice" comes from two Latin words: "sol" meaning sun, and "sister," meaning to cause to stand still. This is because the noonday sun rises higher and higher in the sky on each successive day up to the Solstice

On the day of the solstice, it literally "stands still."On this, the longest day of the year and one that has special meaning with so many cultures, comes an opportunity to make commitment to “stand still” as well and renew our connection to the Universe.

There are many celebrations around the world injure because it is a time when life flourishes after a long winter, warmth fills everyone and we enjoy long hours of light that positively affect our emotions and well-being. It is a time of high energy. This day offers us renewal, and a time to reflect on dreams and goals and to set an intention to pursue our dreams.

The solstice is a time of balance when the year is divided precisely in half. Noon is that special time when our day is divided. This is a marvelous time to address our own energy center. We can take steps to balance our own energy and that of the entire world by addressing the center of the body, which is called Hara. Our center of gravity and sense of grounding lies here.

Our abdomen, the Hara, is our physical and energetic core. Our first lower chakras reside here, focused on grounding, physical embodiment, basic needs and drives, and directed action.  Physically, it is the center of our power, gravity, and bodily organs. Our legs extend to connect us with the earth, establishing roots and mobility. The Hara is our life source through which we achieve mastery, strength, wisdom, and peace.

Giving Healing Energy to Ourselves and the World

We can use Solstice to heal. This day is for clearing and sending away any negativity that is affecting the Earth as well as ourselves. As you go through this day, we can address any blockages within our own energy system to make sure that we are a clear channel. In the morning, follow a process of personal clearing to enhance your connection with the Earth.

If the weather cooperates (which will surely be true in Hawaii), going outside for this process would be superb.

Bounded by the lower ribcage and the pelvis, the Hara covers all the vital organs of the body, except the heart and the lungs.  Within this rather small cavity, we have the stomach, small intestine, large intestine, liver, gall bladder, spleen, pancreas, kidneys, adrenal glands, urinary bladder, reproductive organs, the aorta and vena cava, lymph nodes, important points of the nervous system, lumbar and sacral spine, abdominal muscles, and fascia.

The section of the Hara about two finger-widths below the navel is called the field of the elixir of life or the “Sea of Chi.” It is an area for sowing and reaping. The Kidney, Stomach, Liver, and Spleen channels pass through it. The energy of the organs and meridians of the whole body collects there and becomes a vast storehouse of power.

Focusing your mind in the abdomen helps to concentrate, to remove distracting thoughts, and to have inner calm. The first lower chakras, which deal with basic survival needs and ego and personality development, interact here, determining our individuality.

Our language is filled with phrases referring to the connection between the organs and the
emotions. “I can’t stomach him!”  “He vented his bile.”  “I felt a knot in the pit of my stomach.” Heartache, depression, fear, and an inability to detach affect these areas.  We feel things around us intensely from this area, especially so if we’re empathic, and clearing here can help put us in touch with our emotions, old and new.

One of the best ways to increase the energetic abilities of any part of the body is by simply putting our attention there. Energy flows where the attention goes.

The following procedure will help you to put your attention to this powerful energy center within you. Hold each position for a minute, if you can

Sit comfortably. Breathe easily and gently. Put a sacred symbol in your hands if you have Reiki or Seichim. Make an intention to heighten your awareness. Breathing from your diaphragm, take a deep, comfortable slow breath and then slowly exhale.   Put your attention on your abdomen, breathe deeply again and release your breath slowly. Breath deeply again and hold the breath for a few seconds.  Place one hand above your Hara and the other on your Root Chakra. Feel the energy move from your Root to your Hara. Feel the energy moving from hand to hand.

Keep one hand above your Hara and place the other on your Solar Plexus.  Feel the energy move from your Solar Plexus to your Hara. Stay for a few minutes and feel the energy moving from hand to hand. Leaving one hand above your Hara, place the other on your Heart Chakra. Feel the energy move from your Heart to your Hara. Stay for a few minutes and feel the energy moving from hand to hand.

Keeping one hand above your Hara, place the other on your Throat. Feel the energy move from your Throat to your Hara. Stay for a few minutes and feel the energy moving from hand to hand. Leaving the one hand above your Hara, place the other on your Third Eye. Feel the energy move from your Third Eye Chakra to your Hara. Stay for a few minutes and feel the energy moving from hand to hand.

Leaving the one hand above your Hara, place the other on your Crown. Feel the energy move from your Crown to your Hara. Stay for a few minutes and feel the energy moving from hand to hand. Bring your hand that’s on your Crown and place it over the hand on your Hara. Let the energy flow and feel the energy from this Center. Breathe easily and gently thanks for this experience.

Then, continue to sit comfortably and breathe easily. Set an intention to connect with Gaia, Mother Earth, and receive the benefits of her energy. Bring your attention to the tip of your spine. See a cord extending from your spine and send it deep within the Earth See it branching out as roots from a huge tree Extend the roots for as far a distance and as deeply as you can.

Thank Gaia and ask that she enable you to use her energy to clear yourself and ground yourself. Envision this energy moving up and along the roots to the cord and up the cord into your spine. Feel the energy move up your spine and as it does it fills every bit of your body with energy.

See the energy move down your arms and out through the tips of your fingers. See the energy move up through the top of your head and feel the connection with the Universe.  In turn, send your energy back to Gaia, looking her heal her in any way you can, through her flora and fauna and especially now in view of the horrible happenings in the Gulf of Mexico.

At the end of the meditation, see the rejuvenated and restored Gaia spinning in space with beautiful colors and all her people (including yourself), plants, fish, animals, birds, and insects and waters and land masses healed and healthy.

Have a most blessed summer filled with days filled with good mental, physical, emotional, and intellectual health, happiness, and passion.

Cheryl

HEALING THE WATERS OF THE WORLD

Global Solstice prayer      Monday June 21st
12:00 noon in your time zone

By Cheryl Niggle, Serendipity Riches

Let us collectively link up with the heart of Gaia, mother Earth, for healing the waters of the world, focusing on the Gulf oil leakage as an entry point

On the longest day of the year at the peak of the solar energy, let us put the power of collective prayer into collaborating with mother Earth to co-create healing and harmony between the planet and us, her children. Though some humans behave in ways that may ignore the sacredness of her body, many of us are interested in living in ways that honor and revere this precious planet.  Let us unite in focused prayer, offering our gratitude for the gift of this Earth and all that is provided to us with such grace and abundance.

For those of you who have seen the movie Avatar, we have an image of a sincere individual linking his heart with the heart and Spirit of life, to bring about right action during a distressing situation.  We collectively have the power to do this as well.

During this time of intentional prayer, imagine your heart synchronizing in rhythm with the heart of the Earth and all her amazing creatures and elements.  You can also use the power of sound, of your voice and the spirit of your breath, creating the sound of the heart, “ahhhhh” as you align and send your healing prayers.

Jonathan Goldman has a toning chamber at www.templeofsacredsound.org  for those of you who would like a tone and focus for the sound prayer.

This prayer will flow like a wave of cleansing, healing waters over the planet as compassionate beings in each time zone link up with their fellow beings to bring love across the Earth. Thank you for your time and love.  Please send this email to others if you feel called.

Blessed be.
